Private Apartment | Hong Kong | Hang Hau
A private residence of more than 400 Sq.ft is designed and planned with a kitchen, a toilet, and a living room and dining room. The owner hopes to focus on a concise and simple layout without losing detail in the design and the use of harmonious and comfortable colors. Color contrasts and patterns create eye-catching contrasts and create a comfortable and harmonious home. The first challenge of this design is that the child's room must not only meet the child's growth plan for the next 8-10 years, but also integrate storage, upper and lower beds, and flexible use of the study room. After making humanized design choices, the design team and the householder reached a consensus that sometimes the design is not just about saving space, but also about finding a balance between space saving and humane use. If only focus on saving space and focus on the child, the child will grow taller and sleep on the growing bed. If space planning does not do some preliminary work, it may not be a planned design, and the completeness and practical application cannot be fully utilized. The most humane and design concept combined with the real purpose is a relatively complete design, because ours The focus of the design is to integrate practical, beautiful, and storage elements into this space. Children's growth also undergoes great changes in 8-10 years. It is also expected to change these possibilities during design planning. Flexible spatial coordination can be made, so that children do not have to make changes in the short term while growing. Complex renovation projects waste both money and time. The design of the kitchen is also another challenge. Because the female head of the household likes to cook, the original kitchen counter top position is completely insufficient. After inspecting the building structure, the kitchen door can be moved a little further, and the kitchen counter top can be added from an L shape to a U shape. , in addition to expanding storage and counter top space, the kitchen door can be combined with the standing position of the kitchen work area to save space.
