Inspired by the traditional Cycladic style, we have designed a beige-tone sanctuary with a minimalist twist. Stepping into the foyer, you will be greeted by a curvaceous wall incorporating an organic lotus-patterned wooden floor reflecting a sense of fluidity from the natural surroundings of the space. The chandelier handmade by a Portuguese craftsman contrasts directly with the detailed brass marble dinner table. The contours of the furnishings are soft and curved, creating contrasting lines and textures to the neat lines of the fireplace. “We have incorporated a balanced use of space between the husband and wife creating different functionalities for each area for them to enjoy, creating a ‘real’ sanctuary for our client.” – Maggie and Jay used seductive simplicity, and a neutral palette to design a serene home.
