Afloat Studio is a vibrant architectural and interior design practice based in Hong Kong, founded in 2023. Specializing in the exploration of “in-between” spatial dynamics, the practice employs blurred boundaries to craft intricate, immersive experiences that harmonize architecture with human interaction. Co-founders Kong Pui Sze Jessica and Lam Ho Wang Owen, both registered architects, are dedicated to expanding creative horizons across diverse projects. Their notable accomplishments include international and regional honors, such as the First Prize in the 57th Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition and the First Prize in the Open Group of the 2014 Design Ideas Competition for Kai Tak River, hosted by Hong Kong’s Civil Engineering and Development Department. Owen has been recognized with the HKIA Young Architect Award in 2023 and the Perspective 40 Under 40 in 2024.
